What type of business can use this program?

Any business that interacts with customers from contractors, to churches, business purchasers, and home businesses the list is endless. If you want to get customers, send out announcements, promote a cause or simply keep your existing customers up to date on your business activities

How will this help my business get new customers automatically?

By using grab promotions you place a keyword and your assigned short code anywhere you like on a window, sign or ad and when potential customers see it they text your mobile marketing keyword to the short code and get a coupon in return to use at your shop and their information is automatically stored in your Business Builder mobile marketing CRM database

How will this help my business grow?

You send mobile marketing promotions instantly to customer’s mobile phones either to your entire database, individuals or use custom categories to encourage customers to purchase products and services they may not have in the past

What do I send them to come to my store?

You send them an announcement or mobile marketing promotion you are running and give them an incentive a direct call to action to come in. Inform them you have a buy one get one free or 10 percent discount on specialty items

How will my relationship manager help me?

Your relationship manager will help you with mobile marketing and email campaign questions, campaign ideas and software support questions as well as keyword management and importing your existing customer list into your database It’s part of the Business Builder package

What if I don't have a computer in my shop to log clients or redeem customer coupons?

Part of the Business Builder package you will receive a 10 inch android tablet so you have a handheld computer to do the job and it’s great to walk around the shop and interact with your customers to obtain more information or speak to new visitors to get customers interacting with your business

How will the loyalty program work to keep costs down and generate more revenue?

What is a (SMS)text message?

SMS stands for Short Message Service. A SMS (text message) is a short message, which can be sent to and from a mobile phone

How long does it take to get started?

After you register you can have the system up and running in 2-3 days and it takes that long to secure your keyword and have it operational. We bundle and offer much more than other companies in the marketing industry so we like to get to know our customers’ needs and analyze the local market to build a strategy plan because every size does not fit all. As mentioned before we personalize the system to work for your specific business

What is the advantage of using text messaging?

Using text messages is an effective, inexpensive means of communication. Most people carry their mobile phones with them wherever they go, so text messages can reach people anywhere at any time for effective communication at a very cheap price. This is the #1 means to directly communicate with customers and keep them up to date with your promotions

Do you charge for incoming text messages?

No. We do not charge you for incoming text messages

Does my carrier (or my contact's carrier) charge for received messages?

Every carrier offers different text messaging packages so we suggest you look at your personal mobile phone plan to determine your costs if any

Can I use my Business Builder account to send group / bulk text messages?

Yes! That is exactly what your Business Builder account is for. We give you the opportunity to create and sort your contacts into lists in order to send Group/Bulk messages with the click of a single button.

Is it possible to send a single text message?

Text messages are usually delivered to mobile phones in a few seconds to a few minutes. During peak hours, there could be a short delay. Please note that additional delays may occur if recipient’s phone is turned off or out of the coverage area. When this happens a carrier will attempt to deliver your message for up to 72 hours

Does C4 SMS limit me to a certain number of text messages?

No. As long as you are not violating an anti-spam rules you may send as many text messages as you wish. The key in keeping within the guidelines and rules is to send only to the people that have opted-in to your list to receive future promotions and updates from your business. It’s a great way to communicate with your customers on a personal level and keep them in the loop

How come some of my contacts didn't receive a text that I sent them?

First, please make sure that the recipient has text messaging enabled with his/her carrier. If your recipient uses a pre-paid mobile phone service, his/her balance may be too low (assuming he/she pays for incoming text messages). Other reasons that a recipient may not receive a text message include (but are not limited to): memory full, out of network, and a number typed incorrectly

Do I pay for text messages that my recipients do not receive?

Yes. Sorry but we are charged every time our system sends a text message on your behalf through our SMS Gateway. We do however make it a priority to make sure all messages go through successfully by keeping our system up to date and maintained daily by highly trained staff in our office [toggle title=”Do you send advertisements to my contact list at anytime? “]No. We will never send advertisements or text messages to your contacts for any reason. They are your contacts and yours alone

What is a Keyword?

Your account has a Keyword of your choosing EXAMPLE(HVAC), which we will setup on our Short Code system. Your customers can then send a message containing the keyword “HVAC” to your specific short code to automatically join your opt-in Messaging list. Our software will respond to them for you, with a customizable message, confirming that they have joined (Opted-In) to your Group SMS promotion list. They will also receive the promotion coupon that you have set–up for that keyword. You can now send them future messages to offer them an incentive to return to your business or send communication texts to keep them updated on your business activities. This is also a fantastic way to integrate your social media accounts and build your opt-in lists by adding your short code and keyword into these mediums.

Can I chose any Keyword I want? Or are there limitations?

We can assign any keyword you want as long as it is available; you can register it through your account panel. You can use any combination of letters and numbers, but we suggest you use something that is business specific to identify you easily

Are there rules for how I can promote my Keyword online or in print?

According to carrier guidelines you must include the following: Msg&data rates may apply Frequency (ex: Max 2 messages per week) Opt out instructions (ex: To unsubscribe text STOP {KEYWORD} to 12345) Carriers supported: Alltel, AT&T, Boost Mobile, Sprint, Cellular One, C-Spire, Verizon Wireless, Cricket, MetroPCS, T-Mobile, US Cellular, Virgin

Do I need more than 1 Keyword?

If you decide to run multiple campaigns you will want to use different keywords to differentiate from each campaign as in an A/B split campaign – or to segment the performance of different advertisements. This will give you better insight to what works better for your business and target audience. This also shows you what campaigns are more effective so you can allocate your marketing funds in the area that works best. If you run an Opt-In, Polling and contest campaign our analytics will show you stats on each campaign individually with separate keywords.

What is a Short Code?

A Short Code is a 5 digit or 6 digit number, to which text messages can be sent from a mobile phone. Mobile subscribers send text messages to short codes to receive a variety of different information from a business. (get quotes, promotions, bookings, enter contests, pools, coupons) Common short codes are easy to remember and they are compatible across all participating carriers.

Do I need any technical knowledge/skills?

No! The Business Builder marketing system is designed to be very simple. You don’t need any technical background to use the system. However, if you have ANY questions or need to run a new campaign just contact your personal relationship manager or our friendly support team and we will be happy to assist you. We pride ourselves in keeping you informed and making it as smooth as possible for you to utilize and operate your marketing tools

What do I need to start using the Business Builder?

All you need is an internet connection. If you sign a one year agreement we will provide a Android tablet so you can use at your business and it’s yours to keep. Our software is completely web-based, so there is nothing to download. You can use a PC, a Mac, or any other computer

Is contact list secure? How do you protect my privacy?

Your contacts are kept in strict confidentiality. We do not share, rent, or sell to any third parties. Data that you enter in your business account system belongs to you only. This gives your business added value for resale when the time comes to retire or sell.

How do I upload my contact list?

You may upload your contacts in three formats: As an excel file, as a CSV file. We also assign every account a personal relationship manager to help you with your existing list of customers so you don’t to do it at all. We will do it for you

How do you determine what POS equipment is used?

No one knows your business better then you, but we will make our own initial assessment of your business and together as a collaborating team make a determination what equipment would be best used to streamline your operation at the most affordable price

Where is your customer service training held?

We train all customer service staff on your business premises. We feel it is better to see and hear what the problems are in your business setting before we can make recommendations. However, we do handle the most common topics that arise when working closely with customers. Additionally, we like to have a better understanding of the flow and layout of each business to see if you there is an opportunity to make other benefitial changes and will be happy to make recommendations.
